This tutorial was originally printed in 3DWorld Magazine back in January of 2009 – over 10 years ago as I write this now in October of 2019. It was originally called “Is there a simple flocking procedure in Maya?” (version 8 at the time) a question sent to the Magazine by someone called DuneBug73.
